  Always a hateful, under performing hood rat in the drive thru. The lady that works 3rd shift took it upon herself to pull every bit of resentment she had built up and throw it through the loudspeaker. Got to the point while taking my order that I just drove away. Never again will I waste my money funding the ghetto's finest. Other Steak N Shake locations are still great. But this one is right by the hood in Raleigh.
  
  Message to that lady in the drive thru: if you hate your job that much, maybe you should go find something a bit more accommodating. :)

  While Steak and Shake can be a little slow to bring out the food sometimes their staff are nice and the food is good for a great price. Been here a couple of times and haven't had any bad experiences.

  We came in Friday and our order was not correct. We called and the female mgr stated that they will remake the order and document it in the office. We we came, there was no documentation and the male mgr walked away. This is terrible service! I will not be coming back here and I would advisend you to do the same. They never get our fry order correct either.
  
  So we came in months later and waited for a while to get our order taken..they helped someone who walked up after before us. My cup had soda all over it. We didn't get straws with our soda. Food good but service not so good

  really pissed off waited 45 mn for food. brought wrong shake because we tasted it they wouldn't give a new one without charging for another one
