  Mitch's is the perfect spot. I used to go here all the time while at school and we would order cheese and crackers with beer and just hang out. They give you a massive block of cheese and tons of crackers and they always have good beer too. Also, their meals are only like, $6 and it's great food. Love this place and highly recommend.

  One of the hidden gems of Raleigh. A spot above Hillsborough Street that's been a NCSU/Raleigh staple for many years... the menu is all super reasonably priced and
  has anything you could ever want; from healthy options like stuffed sweet potatoes or spinach salad, to comforting, warm bowls of chili covered ziti and a meat feast of a Cuban sandwich. My favorite is the fried green tomato pimento cheese sandwich. Their beer specials are always great, and they have an awesome draft selection. It's cozy and on games nights, it is packed with college students in red. Oh, and don't forget to get the side of Lima bean and corn chowder. You won't be sorry.

  Mitch's is one of our favorite places for cheap date night. The prices are super affordable, portions are generous and the food is pretty darn good. It's not fancy, but it is cozy and the food comes out fast. The artwork is very eclectic and it has an "old Irish pub" kind of feel. Stop by and mingle with the college students and watch a soccer match!

  Fantastic spot and great food. It can get quite cramped, but I think it adds to the experience and character of the place. It is a great spot to grab a quick bite or drink. Service was quick and staff was very polite and accommodating. I will definitely be going back again.
