  Decent bar but they have the rudest bartender (named Kailee according to the receipt,) that I've ever run across. The bar was vacant for 20 minutes and when I asked a waitress to find somebody to cash me out after one drink that apparently crossed a line. Kailee went behind the bar, scowled at me and then started serving other patrons at the other end of the bar. I waited a couple more minutes. I had been sitting at a table with a bunch of other people and so I wanted to let her know that I was only paying for myself and not the whole table. I held up my credit card and pointed to myself with it to signify that I didn't want to cover the whole table. She apparently took that to mean that I was trying to rush her and then looked at me with a scowl, stalked over to my end of the bar and basically tossed the check and pen in front of me. Not knowing how to react, I tried to stammer "it's alright I just wanted to let you know that I'm only paying for myself" but she wordlessly growled, turned heel and walked off. Hopefully you work out whatever anger issues you've got Kailee and start treating customers with a little basic human decency. In the meantime you should probably stay away from customer facing and tip dependent jobs.

  Didn't really have the opportunity to eat much but what I had was very good. Cobb salad. Came out quickly and was fresh. The staff seems friendly and service was good. Prices were also reasonable. Interior could use a refresher or complete remodel but restrooms were clean and in decent shape for age and traffic at least. It's seems to be a popular local spot. It's nothing that will blow your mind but reliable.

  Do not eat here. DO NOT EAT HERE. They served my 4 year old a raw hamburger. If we didnt cut it in half before he ate it, he'd be in the emergency room right now.

  We had dinner for the first time after being encouraged by having a coupon. We were seated in a timely fashion in the dining area. Something just seems off about the dining area; it's clean but it feels rather old and uninviting. The waiter seemed distant but he seemed to make enough trips to the table; he didn't want to be there. There was a yell from the kitchen for an employee to get off the computer; it was funny but unprofessional. Then there's the food: I got the Italian sandwich which was bland with the worst part being the bread, the side of fries were okay though; my wife got beef tips medium rare that came out well done, they were dry and her veggies looked unappealing but they tasted okay; my son got the a kids pasta meal with a side of fruit, the pasta was simple and done properly but we were surprised when the side of fruit was a sealed cup of pears&peaches in water. It doesn't seem that this place even tries with their food. The one positive was that the beer selection is decent. However, there are plenty of other places in Raleigh with a decent beer selection, better food, better service, and a more inviting atmosphere for around the same price.
