  Guasaca's environment is upscale and modern, white surfaces abound and funky backed included. The menu is straight forward enough, pick your envoy, proteins, 3 additional ingredients, and a sauce. I got the steak salad- the steak was cooked medium rare and good quality, although it was unseasoned. The remaining ingredients were all a base for the flavor of the sauce. The Hot sauce I got was probably a habanero base given its heat and orange color. Overall, it's a good meal I'll go back for- but know that your sauce will drive a lot of the flavor profile beyond the natural ingredient flavors.

  The hotel is brand new and super clean. Pool is a great size for being indoor. Restaurant/bar was yummy. Staff was very friendly and patient as we traveled with several cheerleaders! Great hotel! Will be back!

  I love this restaurant! I went here with my wife and loved the atmosphere of the place. The whole place is laid out in quite a creative way.
  
  The food here is also great; personally I got the bison burger and loved it. I was cooked perfectly and tasted marvelous.
  
  I definitely will be coming back here again!

  I am always looking for new eating experiences in the Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill area. I was very pleased with Guasaca. I went to the restaurant right before an NC State basketball game so there was a line of about 15 people but the food was well worth the wait.
  
  The line moved rather quickly and the shredded chicken arepa was fantastic. I strongly suggest trying out Guasaca if you are looking for a "taco" or "Mexican" alternative that is healthy.
  
  They have outdoor seating that would be very nice on a spring or fall afternoon.
