  Utterly flavorless at every turn, Chubby's tacos is inadequate in every way imaginable. The only positive note is that the food did not poison me. Stay away!

  I have lived in Raleigh all my life and have just found this amazing place! I loved the food, atmosphere, and everything about this place! I will definitely be back soon.

  I wanted to like it because I'd heard good things, but I can't say I was impressed. I got the special (A chorizo queso torta), and was surprised at first that I received a knife and fork with a sandwich. I soon discovered this was because the bottom was soaked through with grease. It contained the blandest chorizo that I've ever tasted (I'm not convinced it wasn't just ground beef), and the queso tasted like melted plain white american cheese. Every bite weighed heavy, and I had to drench it with salsa to cut the thick, greasy blandness. I realize I shouldn't necessarily judge a mexican restaurant on a sandwich, but nothing I saw or ate led me to believe anything else would have been better. Overall I just feel grateful to have not gotten food poisoning.
