  Pleasantly surprised with the fare here. Tasty and appropriately priced. Some offerings were more than fairly priced. The atmosphere is pleasant too. Great spot all around.

  They have great drinks and great sushi. Not the best sushi I've ever had, but one of the best in Raleigh. Friendly wait staff and a nice atmosphere.

  Love the style and flair this place has. Some of the best miso soup (not too salty, not too much tofu or sea weed, just right), the sushi is always super fresh and you can tell is prepared with care and pizazz, as the rolls live up to their names (i.e. the Etta James, the Eric Clapton, the Rolling Stones, the Monroe to name a few). Jazzy blues give the place a really classy yet contemporary feel. The wait staff are super friendly and personable, really attentive, they know the rolls really well and are almost always willing to modify a roll and make suggestions according to dietary restrictions. This has been my go to place in Raleigh for sushi ever since Sushi 9 burned down, but even when they open back up, I'm still going to be a loyal and faithful customer of Sushi Blues because there is no other place like it. It's my downtown spot for a delicious and satisfying meal.
