  I recommend this place to all!! I ordered fried whiting, macaroni and cheese, greens, shrimp, cornbread and shrimp. I thoroughly enjoyed it all and the service was exceptional! I will be going back today! The chocolate cake was delicious as well. The place is very clean!

  This was my first and last time going there! For starters, their air conditioning system was out on one of the hottest days in the summer. Several menu items weren't available. I ordered the Portsmouth, which is a fried chicken thigh and leg with 2 sides. I told the sever that I was willing to pay extra to have 2 thighs instead of the thigh and leg, which he said was fine. Once the food arrived, I had a thigh and a leg... He said the lady behind me ordered same thing and he didn't have a thigh to spare?!? On top of that the food was mediocre... My chicken was stringy and tasted like it was prepared in burned grease, the macaroni was salty, and the greens were sweet. The quality of the food and customer service was not worth the money! Oh and there's a 3% charge if you pay with a debit/credit card.

  Today was my first and last time going to this place. Feathers on my chicken, cornbread was dry as crap, collard greens was one leaf not even cut with sugar seasoning...shall i continue? When I got there they had a sign on the door that they were only taking cash and not credit/debit. That's an inconvenience for those of us who don't carry cash and the location isn't near an ATM. OMG the chicken wings must have came from sick chickens they were so small. They had a wing special for $5.99 today with 2 sides. I definitely would not recommend it to anyone.

  This place has some of the best food I've had in my life. It was my first time there so I ordered serval things. I had the pork chops( very nice size) seasoned perfectly. Fish, shrimp(plump size) with there homemade cocktail and tarter sauce. that was delicious. The sides I had was Mac and cheese and potato logs(wedges) both was good. I was it down with some cherry flavored kool aid and it had just enough sugar. I was surprised and happy they sold kool aid. Last but not least I had strawberry cake and that was fantastic. I am definitely going back here as soon as I can. thank you very much and I appreciate the customer service I was given as well
