Reviews about Romano's Macaroni Grill
- 1 / 5By Richard TrumperWorst Meal I ever had to pay for. The only redeeming quality about the ribeye was that my dog ate it when I couldn't finish it. (yup, it qualifies as dog food). The knife they gave me to cut a medium rare steak could not get the job done. Then had to wait 20 minutes for the waiter to clear the table while the steak I would not eat got colder. Not sure how you cook a steak and it arrives cold. The "butter" they put on top did not even melt. The drive thru around the corner would have had better "steak".December 28, 2016
- 1 / 5By A JonesWhere to start with this place.. We made a reservations, we get there and they are seating people who just walk up before us. The lady then says "oh my god I'm so sorry we forgot about you". So then we get seated at the worst table in the place and we're given no silverware.. we have to ask for it. Then we wait a good 45 minutes to an hour just to get our food which was sub part.. What made it worse is a larger party of people was seated 15 minutes after us and they got their food 20 minutes before we did. We got some carmalized pasta chicken crap and it tasted OK.. the pasta was semi hard so it was not even fully cooked. Honestly olive garden is a lot better. Paid $65 for three people.. would have rather spent $45 for better food at olive garden. Place looks nice but has a 90 sanitation rating(and you know they kissed some butt to keep that from being in the 80s). Won't be going back.. Come on, you're a "macaroni grill" Can't you even cook pasta?November 07, 2016
- 1 / 5By Jeff ZabawaI went into the restaurant about 7:30 pm, so definitely not that late. There were a few tables and as I was alone just sat at the bar. I ordered the Classic Italian Bake and proceeded to wait. (and wait, and wait and wait…) I had went to the restroom and when I arrived back the meal was waiting for me. As I have had this happen before, I tested the temperature of this oven baked dish where they deliver with a towel and warn you about the hot dish. It was cold to the touch in the middle. Informed the server and he said that he would have it reheated. I had already sat waiting for 25 minutes so did not have time for this. He was generous and offered to take it off my tab. I asked for the manager to come over and as she had a chef jacket asked if she had a thermometer to temp the dish. She did not, but touched the sauce and said “warm” I let her know that in the center it was COLD. She had mentioned something about my ticket being lost and that was why I waited so long, but could have the dish reheated. At this time I was less than happy for the long wait and cold food and informed her that I didn’t have the time for another cold dish to come out. This is the 3rd time that I have ordered this dish where it has come out cold and while I like the dish will probably not be returning again. Thankfully there was a restaurant on the way home that takes pride in the food and has quality control so I could pick up my Big Mac and Fries for dinner (they were hot)June 28, 2016
