  Good BBQ and great service. I know, I know... You're thinking "He said good BBQ, but gave it a 3-star?" Caveat: It's NC BBQ. Not saying NC BBQ isn't good, it's just not my thing. Quick ranking to help you understand my thought process: 1) Memphis Pit BBQ, 2) KC BBQ, 3) Texas BBQ 4) NC BBQ. I'm no aficionado, but I know what I like. Not enough flavor / boldness in the sauce, and not enough smoke in the meat. Here's what I will give it... All of the meat was fall-off-the-bone tender and it is a nice atmosphere. Definitely date material, if you're not scared to get some meat stuck in your teeth in front of her...

  Not only is the food scrumptious, the service is divine. I got the chopped plate with mac and cheese and sweet potato fries for lunch and it was the perfect portion and at a very reasonable price ($9). The hush puppies and biscuit that are served on the house are also great. That whipped honey butter is UNREAL.

  They have amazing food and service!!!! The brisket is the best I've had, moist and bursting with flavors. The chicken is also a great choice. I have heard from friends and family of their other products, unfortunately I can't speak for myself cause I am not a pork eater. But this is a true southern restaurant. The drinks are great and the atmosphere is so relaxing and laid back. It does get very crowded

  This place is really great. Very good food, friendly and tentative service, and spacious seating. That seams to be a rare things these days, but it's nice to have some elbow room while dining with others. The atmosphere feels relatively professional without being stuffy, so it's great for business meetings, dates, or just casual dining.
  
  The "team" serving means that your drinks won't run empty. They are very thorough.
