  The food is awesome, obviously pepared by a true southern cook. But that's not what makes it special. When you walk in, you immediately see the names of their "regulars" spelled out on their respective seats. Our waitress knew almost every customers name and while she was clearly stretched thin, there wasn't a moment where she wasn't doing an excellent job with a smile. We spoke to one of the cooks who treated us like friends. This place is really something special. Forget the uptight environment of The Pit, this is like getting a home cooked meal with your family.

  Ole Time is my favorite barbecue. I always get the family meal with the apple sticks when I have visitors from out of town to show them what good southern food tastes like. The meat is very lightly sauced before you purchase it, so even if you don't like vinegar based sauce you can use your own and still enjoy it. I love their sauce and purchased a bottle so I always have it handy.

  This is my favorite barbecue spot in the entire Triangle. I the barbecue, hush puppies, you name it. All of their sides are delicious. You just can't go wrong with this menu.. And the prices are great. Try it!
