  Tried this place out having lunch with a friend who works near Crabtree. The location isn't to bad to get to given the traffic in the area, it's on the tip of the mall nearest the highway. Place was busy but there is a large dining area upstairs as well so we got a seat right away. I had the carnitas enchiladas which were good but there was some fatty pieces that hadn't fully rendered. Our server was nice and the food came out quickly.

  Great food, fun atmosphere, fast service, very friendly waiter!!! Their salsa is excellent; I also recommend la burrita al pastor!

  What a delightful dinner we had at "La Rancherita". The servers were the most friendly people, the meals were delicious, the serving was quick and pleasant. Our dog, Snowball, was so welcomed! We left the restaurant feeling uplifted and very, very happy.

  Have been going to this restaurant for a while. They invested in remodeling and vamping up their menu, and it's great! La rancherita combines the old free-chips-and-salsa style Mexican with a more modern culinary approach-without high price tag. You can get top shelf steak and shrimp meal for under $20. I had enchiladas which were delicious and filling for $11. Asked for hot sauce and got a homemade sauce, not Texas Pete/tobasco. Took my kids here as La Rancherita is very family friendly. Love it and highly recommend.
