  Retro diner that has some of the best food in the Triangle. Have eaten here many times and have never had a bad meal. Cannot say enough about the quality, freshness, and taste of every menu item I've tried. Some of the best french fries around too. If you go and you're fortunate enough to get Ruth as your server, she's amazing and never fails to make sure your meal is outstanding.

  Quality 5/5. The servers have always been helpful, energetic and sarcastic when you need a dash of cynicism in your life. Food is reasonably priced and the atmosphere is fun, and cozy. Best at late night when you watch the drunks roll in and 'people watch' their rambunctious behavior. Food is your normal American Diner fair. Hamburgers, sandwiches, french fries, omelettes, pancakes, biscuits and gravy, hot dogs etc.
  
  Service 5/5. Very attentive and welcoming.
  
  Price 4/5. Moderately priced meals. Couple times my order came with fries (seriously lacking in quantity).
  
  Cleanliness 4/5. Tables are always spotless. Bathrooms need to be remodeled.
